Victim Identified In Eastport ‘Suspicious Death’

Police have released new information on the death of an Eastport man.

A body discovered in a home on Clark Street Thursday night has been identified as 75-year-old Maurice Harris, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said on Monday.

An autopsy was performed at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta but additional work is needed to determine a cause of death, McCausland said.

Police are calling Harris' death suspicious "because there are questions that have not been resolved and they continue to seek those answers," McCausland said.
