A man who was injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon on Ohio Street in Bangor has died, and police say he has been identified as a 36-year-old man from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Terrance Durel Sr. was pronounced dead at the hospital Sunday night, the Bangor Police Department said in a Monday news release.

He was found with serious injuries after police responded just before 3 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 100 block of Ohio Street.

Police have ruled Durel's death a homicide.

Police are actively seeking 40-year-old Antoinne J. Bethea, (also known as; “Prince”), via an arrest warrant for the violation of murder.

There is a reward for information that leads to the apprehension of Bethea.
