Wander The World This Weekend In Orono At Culturefest

If in the past you have made reference to taking a trip and never leaving the farm this event may be the closest thing to just that without the need of chemical assistance. And in an age where cultural tolerance and understanding is the order of the day this is also a fun way to get into the know.

The group giving you this opportunity is the  International Student Association located on the University of Maine campus in Orono.  The celebration of cultures near and far will run on Saturday November 3rd from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the New Balance Student Recreation Center on campus.  This free event is open to everyone. What a great chance this will be to sample and experience other world cultures with country/culture exhibits, food court offerings, children’s activities, live demonstrations and a talent show/cultural performances and a style show.

Although admission is free food and crafts will be sold and taking cash is advisable.
