Nik Wallenda has crossed the Grand Canyon live on the Discovery Channel.

Talk about scary! Nik Wallenda only needed 22 minutes and 54 seconds to walk 1,500 feet, on a 2 inch cable, high above the Colorado river. He didn't have a saftey net or harness. Nik needed to pause two times as winds whipped around him at 10-30 miles per hour. He would have had plenty of time to wave bye, bye as he was about 1,320 feet in or air.

This stunt comes one year after he crossed Niagara Falls, earning him a seventh Guinness World Record.

Nik is a seventh generation high-wire artist. His great-grandfather, uncle and cousin have all perished in high-wire stunts.
