It's breeding time on Seal Island!  For the Gray Seals that is, so back off, they like their privacy.

But not to worry!  Thanks for the folks at Explore.org you can now watch the hundreds of seals gathered on this small island just south of Vinalhaven in the Gulf of Maine!

Five hundred seal pups will be born this season according to a press release from the company.  "With the seal pupping cams, we are helping people escape the urban squalor, and, if only for a moment, reconnect with nature in its purest state," according to Charlie Annenberg, the founder of Explore.org.

From the 1940s to the 1960s the U.S. Navy used the island as a bombing target, but now the 65 acre island is a National Wildlife Refuge!
