WATCH: Maine Forest Ranger Hand Feed Canadian Jay Bird

Legend has it, that Canadian Gray Jay birds are the souls of those who once worked in the woods, and have since passed on.  Well, one of those souls was very hungry this week.

Watch as Maine Forest Ranger Shane Nichols hand feeds a Canadian Jay by hand somewhere in the woods of western Maine.  The video was posted to Facebook just a couple of days ago.

How neat it is that these birds feel safe enough to be fed by hand!
