Bottled water that is sold at both Shaw's and Hannaford is being recalled because of the concern of E. Coli bacteria.

Niagara Bottling, the company that supplies both supermarket chains with the water said that there is no evidence of E. Coli in it's product, but is issuing a "voluntary recall" because the operator of one of their "contracted springs" failed to mention evidence of E. Coli.   Niagara Bottling obtains its water from two plants in Pennsylvania.

The affected water can be found in Shaw's brand and Hannaford's "Nature's Place" water bottles with codes F# BEST BY 08DEC2016 to F# BEST BY 16DEC2016, or A# BEST BY 08DEC2016 to A# BEST BY 16DEC2016.
