We Don’t Buy The Discount Lie

If Holiday sales hype is leaving you less than impressed you are not alone according to a survey commissioned from Google Christmas shopping survey. 1500 people who took part in the poll and 70 percent said they didn’t believe that the “sales” in mid-December were legit.

It also seem that you are I are the worst in this scenario have 55-65 year old folks in New England  feeling the most strongly that December sales are hokum.  Don’t we all agree the best sales come after Christmas?...yes we do.

As a result the researchers offered advice to retailers to offer loyalty programs for long term customers and keep the “deep discount” until after the Holidays. Good advice.
