What Very Loud Music Bummed Out Your Parents? [SURVEY]

It was on this date in rock and roll history that a little known rock band named "Earth" changed it's name to Black Sabbath, and Ozzy Osbourne was released into the wild.

Now take a moment to remember way back when, there you were living at your parents house, and even with that bedroom door closed tightly you could hear your father screaming at the top of his lungs to "turn it down" as that little stereo set of yours with it's speakers stretched to the max blared out Ozzy and clan singing "Iron Man!"

Maybe your mama yelled out, "that's devil music!"

Yup, there was Kiss, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith and Foghat.  Later it would be Van Halen, Guns N' Roses and Billy Idol.

I remember my father in the next room asking my mother "when is he going to start listening to some good music?"  I think it was an album by Cream that set him off.

You won't have to think too hard, because it's awful easy to remember when Dad finally made it through that bedroom door and reached for the volume knob.
