Acadia National Park is a very fun place, and even more so when it's half-price!

The annual Park Pass is normally $55 per year, but for the month of December you can pick it up for only $28, almost half-price!  Here's where you can pick one or two up, yes remember, they make great Christmas presents.

Friday night, December 7th, during Bar Harbor's Midnight Madness event, on the Village Green between 8 and midnight.

At local Chamber of Commerce offices in both Ellsworth and Bar Harbor.

At the Harbor House in Southwest Harbor.

At these town offices:  Gouldsboro, Mount Desert, Tremont, and Winter Harbor.

At the Rockefeller Hall Welcome Center at the Schoodic Education and Research Center.

Passes must be obtained in person.  No phone orders.  Some locations may only accept cash while others may accept both checks or credit cards.

Eighty percent of the entrance fees go towards the maintenance and improvement of Acadia National Park, and also helps with the operation of the Island Explorer Bus service, which continues to operate free of charge.
