Today's our anniversary.  My wife and I have been married now for 33 years.   Seems like yesterday.

This got me to thinking about the night I proposed to her.  It was at the Frazer Point picnic area out on the Schoodic Peninsula, part of Acadia National Park.  "Best Of My Love" by the Eagles was playing on the 8 track player when I whipped that big rock out and saw her eyes light up.  Yup, I've been fed well ever since.

Maine is filled with beautiful landmarks that people in love take advantage of.  Remember back in 2007 when Jenna Bush, the President's daughter, said yes to her boyfriend's proposal on the top of Cadillac Mountain?  "I did not want to go hiking at 4 in the morning," she said. "It was freezing. But we got up, and we hiked in the dark for an hour and a half, and then when we got towards the top, with the sunrise, he asked me."  Pretty romantic stuff!

Where did you propose, or where were you when you were proposed to?  Let me know in THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW or on the I-95 FACEBOOK PAGE!  I may make mention of it on the air!

By the way, here's to 33 more years!
