We all have our guesses, but who really does pocket the most dough in the Pine Tree State?

According to the Daily Mail, the richest person in Maine is Leon Gorman, an American businessman and former Chairman of the Board for L.L. Bean. Mr. Gorman is worth about $860 million.

Mr. Gorman, a graduate of Bowdoin College, became the President of L.L. Bean after his grandfather Leon Leonwood Bean passed away in 1967.  He is a great philanthropist, making donations to various public education facilities in our state.
