Who Will Win The State Championship Tonight? Ellsworth Or Lake Region? [POLL]

Will the basketball team win a State Championship like the swimming team did?  We hope so!  GOOD LUCK EAGLES!

The Ellsworth Eagles Boys basketball team goes for their first gold ball in 50 years tonight at the Cross Center in Bangor!  Ellsworth is just ecstatic!  Cruise the in-town streets and you'll feel the excitement just by looking at the flags waving, the business marquees wishing the team luck, and the huge blinking construction sign on Water Street that proclaims "Go Eagles!"

The North champion Eagles finished strong this year with a 17-4 record, and will take on Lake Region Lakers of Naples, the Southern champs who sport a record of 19-2.  Game time is 8:45 TONIGHT at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor!

Also best wishes to the George Stevens Academy Eagles, as the boy's team goes for a Class C State Championship this Saturday night at the Augusta Civic Center!  Game time is 8:45PM!

And we cannot forget the Narraguagus Knights girls team, as they too head to the Augusta Civic Center for Saturday's Class C girl's State Championship game!  Game time is 7PM!
