Recently, someone vandalized the town of Winter Harbor's first-ever fire truck.

According to a Facebook post by Derek James Smith, a Lieutenant with the Winter Harbor Fire Department, the truck had been stored on private property.  As you can see, someone took a key or other sharp object and then scratched the door of the vehicle significantly.

The truck holds historic value to those in the Department and the small Downeast town.

If you have any information on the vandalism, please call the Winter Harbor Fire Department at 963-5533, or, the Hancock County Sheriff's Department Tip Line at 667-1401.
