The man has been blocking your freedom of seven character speech, but not anymore!

Have you been dying to have 'B00bz' as your license plate? Rejoice the time has come! Profane license plates will soon be on the road in Maine.

Around the country states have been facing lawsuits over the censorship of license plates. Motorists say their right to free speech is being denied. WGME says a law change in Maine will bring some balance to what can be stamped on a plate.

Only 'plates that incite or promote violence, including hate speech, will be banned.'

The state will begin reviewing the nearly 6,000 vanity plate requests that have been rejected in the past. It could take two to three months to review them all.
