One of the hardest working classic rock acts in the world are on their way back to Maine, and that means another local choir will get the chance to sing with them onstage!

Foreigner will play the Rangeley Wellness Pavilion on Saturday, July 30th, and as is tradition with the band, they'll welcome a local school choir to join them in performing the classic, "I Want To Know What Love Is."

Here's how your school's choir can be in the running.  The folks at WBLM, our sister station in Portland, are holding a contest for local school choirs with a maximum of 25 members.  Just produce a short video, no longer than 60 seconds, of your school's choir performing "I Want To Know What Love Is."  Enter HERE!  Deadline for entry is Friday, April 29th, at 12 noon.

Then, during week of May 2nd, WBLM listeners will vote for their favorite of the submitted videos.

If your choir wins, not only will it get to perform onstage with the band, but the school's music program will receive a $500 grant from the band themselves!

In 2014, the Hermon High School choir joined the band onstage in Bangor, as did the Deering High School Choir for the band's performance in Portland.
