Dover-Foxcroft Shooting Victim Identified
The case is still an active investigation but police in Dover-Foxcroft identify one of the men involved in a fight earlier this week. Three men were hospitalized after a fight broke out in Dover-Foxcroft early Tuesday morning.
Bangor Man Faces Charges in Trenton Hit and Run
A Bangor man faces several charges after leaving the scene of a crash in Trenton that caused a lot of disruption. The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday and the Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on the scene on Route 3 to discover a Jeep and a broken utility pole, but no driver.

A lot of people are without power this morning as the result of a hit and run crash in Hancock County. The Hancock County Sheriff’s department has the Jeep that crashed into a utility pole this morning on Route 3 in Trenton but the driver wasn't in the vehicle.
Ending Hunger Checks Help Those in Need
Thanks to the creativity and hard work of federal credit union employees in Maine several area nonprofit food pantries and shelters get big checks to help them re-stock. 14 nonprofits serving Penobscot County received checks today, each totaling over 1-thousand dollars.

Many rivers and streams in Maine remain under flood watches and warnings, and low lying areas prone to Spring floods are underwater. The town of Dexter is waiting for the rushing water to recede before they can begin to assess and repair damages sustained.
Flooding Claims a Life in Maine
Maine's rivers and streams are swollen with many spilling over their banks with the recent rain and the flooding is being blamed for one death. The Warden Service says a man was killed when he was swept away by fast moving water.

It's a mixed bag of weather this morning in Maine with snow reported in Piscataquis County and a mix of snow and rain elsewhere. Flood warnings and watches posted by the National Weather Service remain in effect throughout much of the state as rivers and streams are swollen.

Fire Crews Battle Mobile Home Fire
Few details are yet available from the scene but fire fighters from several Penobscot County communities have been called out to the scene of a structure fire in Chester. The fire was reported to Penobscot County Regional Dispatch shortly after 10 this morning.
