Bangor Group Collecting Blankets & Sleeping Bags For Those In Need

It's a cold Maine winter, especially for those in need.

Bangor-based group Health Equity Alliance will be collecting new or "gently used" blankets and sleeping bags between now and February 8th, at their offices at 304 Hancock Street, Suite 3B.

Then, on Monday, February 11th, those items will be distributed to those that need them most at Pickering Square in Downtown Bangor.

The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter is helping out with this Blanket & Sleeping Bag Drive, and your donation would certainly be appreciated by someone down the line. More information can be obtained by calling 990-3626.
