Body Found In Trunk Of Car At Pittsfield Dealership [UPDATE]

Police are at a Pittsfield car dealership at this hour, after a woman's body was found in the trunk of a car.

Newscenter.com reports a mechanic found the body while working on a Chevy Malibu. State Police say the car had been towed from the parking lot at Walmart, because a family member didn't have a key in order to unlock it. So far, there's no word on the woman's identity or how she got in the trunk.

An autopsy is planned for Saturday, to determine cause of death. The vehicle was put on the back of a tow truck and taken to Augusta so it could be inspected.
