The attitude surrounding cannabis has changed quite a bit. It's gone from being the demon scourge gateway drug, to a magical cure-all.

If your job is a Dorito tester, or pro video gamer, you can probably puff all you want. But bus driviers, or heavy machinery operators should maybe wait, right?

How many things can you find on the shelf at the grocery that costs $2500 - $3000 a pound? Anything?

It's been a bureaucratic nightmare this whole time, but that's all over as of today.

Other businesses could benefit. Snack chip sales will explode. Furniture stores will see a surge in folks wanting comfortable recliners.

Whether it's smoking the grass or cutting the grass, people from Maine enjoy their privacy, and their right to live the way they want.

Time to gather up those old outdated medications and safely dispose of them before they fall into the wrong hands!

Even though the vote has passed here in Maine to legalize marijuana until they sort out the particulars about the sale of it you still can’t sell it legally. That said I guess there is no law against giving it away.

Needless to say Maine has one of the toughest drunk driving laws in the country and yet repeat offenders are on the roads killing people every year. So if fines and jail time won't stop them, can technology? Some of our politicians think so.

So here we go…most likely.  Now that the votes are counted and the recreational marijuana bill has passed with the voters it sits on the Governor’s desk awaiting a signature but that is just one hurdle.
