Police are ruling the death of a toddler in Bucksport a homicide.

Two-year-old Kloe Hawksley was declared deceased after police responded to an emergency call at a Bucksport home in October, according to Troy Gardner, a lieutenant with the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit.

In a Wednesday news conference in Bangor, Gardner said police responded to a report of an unresponsive child at 264 Central Street in Bucksport about 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2017.

Gardner said two adults and two children were living at the residence.

Police are seeking information in the case. Those with information may call 973-3700 and ask for Greg Mitchell.
