The Maine Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing a section of one of the most traveled roads in the area, beginning Tuesday, May 30th.

The work area will begin .07 of a mile south of the Lily Road in Dedham and extending southerly 3.29 to the base of McGowan Hill in Ellsworth.  The $1,039,000 project calls for a "ultra thin bonded wearing surface" to be applied.

Signs were erected yesterday informing motorists say the work will be done during the night, between 7PM and 7AM, Sunday through Friday.
