It has been a productive vacation week for a group of Ellsworth High School athletes who for the first time in school history won the state swimming championship.The Eagles claimed the Class B title on Tuesday by taking the lead in the first event and never losing it while they racked up 362 points.

Talor Hamilton came away with 4 victories as he took first in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles and was part of the winning 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay teams.
