Glen Mary Wading Pool Temporarily Closed Due to “Baby Ruth Incident”

The Glen Mary Wading Pool in Bar Harbor has been temporarily closed because of a "Baby Ruth Incident"

The wading pool is in the process of being drained, sanitized and then the chemicals need to be adjusted before it can reopen to the public. It is hoped that the pool will be open for the weekend.

It has been noted that there appears to be more garbage, including paper plates, dirty diapers etc. being left at the facility. Please if you are using the wading pool, which is a welcome break during the hot days, that you dispose of all waste properly!
