Great, now robots are hitching...

HitchBOT has been thrust upon an unsuspecting world. The Canadian created robot successfully hitched across Canada last year. Now its goal is to get to California. Last Friday hitchBOT began its journey in Boston.

hitchBOT has a GPS, camera and software that allows it to have conversations with the people giving it rides. However, the robot can't move. It souly relies on people to pick it up and take it to where it needs to go. Its ultimate destination is the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
