Silver Alert Canceled for Missing 82-Year-Old Presque Isle Man

A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Presque Isle man who's been missing since Friday.

Missing Maine Man Seemed Confused When He Was Last Seen

Lyman Botting, 82, was last seen at approximately 9:00 Friday morning, September 27th, at the intersection of Houlton and Spragueville Roads in Presque Isle. Witnesses told the police he seemed confused and believed that he was living in a different decade.

UPDATE: Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the Silver Alert has been canceled and Mr. Botting has been located. No further information has been released. We have contacted the Maine Warden Service for additional information, as this investigation has been turned over to them.
