A Bangor Man is facing charges in connection with an attempted burglary in Old Orchard Beach.

Bangor, Maine Man Arrested in Old Orchard Beach Already Had Bail Conditions

Austin Gardner, 19, of Bangor, had nine separate sets of bail conditions at the time of this arrest.

Old Orchard Beach, Maine Police Release Video of Burglary Attempt

Officials say Gardner tried to break into a business on Ocean Park Road on January 22, 2026. This video was released of the suspect attempting entry into the building.

Old Orchard Beach Police investigated the incident, including information from the public. As a result of that investigation, Gardner was taken into custody.

Bangor, Maine Man Faces Multiple Charges for OOB Attempted Burglary

Austin Gardner is charged in Old Orchard Beach with:

  • Aggravated criminal mischief
  • Criminal attempt (burglary)
  • Operating after suspension
  • Possession of burglary tools
  • Violation of conditions of release
