Text Your Friends – It’s Fair Time in Bangor, Maine

The Bangor State Fair is back, and it's FAIR to say that it will be awesome this year. We got a little taste (literally, a HUGE taste of the delicious fair food) of all the fun taking place at Cross Insurance Center for the annual Bangor State Fair in 2024.

What's New This Year at the Fair in Bangor, Maine?

First change is the most obvious. The Bangor State Fair has been split up into weekends in lieu of a consecutive week. Weekend 1 will be July 25th through July 28th, and Weekend 2 will take place August 1st through August 3rd.

All of the delicious food is still being offered. No changes there. The doughboys are just as fresh and fried as ever with your favorite toppings. Savory pizza is available by the slice. Fries and hot dogs are offered all throughout the fairgrounds, and YES, the bloomin' onion will most certainly be in bloom.

Changes to be on the lookout for include harness racing! Although this isn't something new, it is making its return after a 30-year hiatus and will only be on Thursday, July 25th. There will also be a food truck alley this year to give you and your family and friends even more options for grub!
