A yard sale in Bangor on Saturday will benefit the Hilltop School and fund the restoration of the historic building.

Bangor, Maine's Hilltop School is a Non-Profit in a Historic Building

The Hilltop School on Ohio Street in Bangor is holding a summer fundraiser on Saturday, June 7, 2025, to support its early education programs for children ages 18 months through pre-k. This is a big deal because the Hilltop School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so they rely on fundraisers to stay open.

A portion of the proceeds will also support the ongoing historical restoration of their amazing building. The huge brick structure built in 1869 was originally the Bangor Children's Home and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
