Bangor Police Arrest a Woman in a Stolen Dump Truck from Vermont
A woman who allegedly stole a dump truck in Vermont and drove it to Maine was intercepted by Bangor Police.
The Woman Faces Multiple Charges for Allegedly Taking the Truck
Alicia Ailing, 40, faces charges in Vermont, including aggravated operation without the owner's consent and grand larceny.

Where Was the Truck Stolen From?
Just before 10:00 Thursday morning, July 25th, the Lyndonville, Vermont Police Department received a complaint from Creative Counters LLC. The complainant told police that a woman allegedly had taken a dump truck and affiliated company property from their site overnight.
Chief Jack Harris opened an investigation and entered the 2015 GMC dump truck's pertinent information into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), while members of the Lyndonville Police Department searched the surrounding area. They couldn't locate the dump truck which, unbeknownst to them, was on its way to Maine.
When Did Bangor Police Catch Up to Her?
At approximately 5:15 that evening, members of the Bangor, Maine Police Department intercepted the stolen vehicle and took the occupant(s) into custody. The dump truck was transported to the impound lot by Union Street Towing. We've contacted the Bangor Police Department about whether she faces additional charges in Maine.
Ms. Ailing has an arraignment date of September 23, 2024, in Caledonia, Vermont Superior Court.
