Maine Man Arrested With $14K In Illegal Drugs In Encampment

A Maine man is facing drug trafficking and other charges after the police searched his encampment tent.

Maine Drug Agents Charge Biddeford Man With Trafficking From a Tent

Brandon Gelsomini, 28, of Biddeford, was arrested on October 29, 2025, and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled 'W' drugs and violation of bail conditions.

The charges stem from a two-month-long investigation into the sale of illicit drugs from an encampment near the railroad tracks in Biddeford, along James Street.

Maine Drug Agents Seize Drugs and a Firearm in Biddeford Drug Bust

Maine Drug Enforcement Agents located Gelsomini's tent and executed a search warrant in the early morning hours on Wednesday. Gelsomini was at the location and taken into custody on an unrelated arrest warrant.

Seized as a result of that search were:

• 120 grams of fentanyl
• 21 grams of powder cocaine
• 5 grams of crack cocaine
• A loaded shotgun
• Approximately $7,000 in suspected drug proceeds
• Evidence of drug trafficking

Maine Drug Agents estimate the street value of the seized drugs as $14,000.

Gelsomini was arrested and taken to the York County Jail, where he's being held without bail until a court appearance on Friday.
