
Maine Teen Charged for $22K in Damage to Carmel Sport Fields
A teenager faces a felony charge after thousands of dollars' worth of damage was done to the athletic fields in Carmel.
Penobscot County Sheriff's Office Charges Carmel Teen for Damage to Athletic Fields
Jordan Warman, 19, of Carmel, is listed by the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office as a person of interest in the case. Warman is charged with aggravated criminal mischief, which is a Class C felony.

Damage to the Carmel Athletic Fields in April 2025 is Estimated at Roughly $22,000
The charge stems from an incident discovered on April 28, 2025, in which at least one person drove their vehicle onto the recreational field and ballpark overnight. Authorities say the pre-dawn joyride caused approximately $22,000 in damages.

No Other Suspects Have Been Named Yet in the Damage to the Carmel Athletic Fields
Officials have not indicated whether they have any other suspects in the case.
The Maine Criminal Defense Group says a class C felony charge of aggravated criminal mischief carries a potential sentence of up to five years in prison and up to $5,000 in fines. The defendant may also be ordered to pay restitution for the damage.
As always, all suspects are presumed innocent until found otherwise in a court of law.
