
Shooting Incident In Glenburn, Maine Results in Two Arrests
Two people are in custody after shots were fired at a vehicle and home, with residents inside the house.
Glenburn, Maine Resident Told Authorities Masked Individuals Shot At Her Home
The names of the suspects have not been released. The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says at least three people were involved, and two have been taken into custody.
The Penobscot County Regional Communications Center was contacted just after 3:00 Sunday afternoon of a violent incident on Danforth Drive in Glenburn.
The homeowner told dispatchers that several masked individuals were firing shots and causing significant damage to her car and residence. Fortunately, no one inside the home sustained any injuries.
Officials say the occupants were able to provide a detailed description of the suspects as they fled the scene.
Glenburn, Maine Shooting Suspects Led a Pursuit With Penobscot County Deputies
Deputies encountered the suspects on Union Street in Hermon allegedly fleeing the scene, and tried to pull the vehicle over. The driver accelerated, however, until it made the turn onto Davis Road in Bangor.

At the Finson Road intersection, officials say the vehicle slowed and two suspects got out and fled on foot. The driver continued back toward Glenburn.
K9 units from both Bangor Police and the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office were deployed in the Finson Road area and, following a brief search, one of the suspects was located hiding under a mobile home trailer.
The second suspect who fled on foot was not located.
Glenburn, Maine Shooting Suspect Allegedly Ran Into a Stranger's House to Feel Deputies
Deputies were still pursuing the fleeing vehicle until the driver got out and entered a stranger's residential home. The deputies entered the house and captured the suspect, who allegedly resisted arrest.
Penobscot County Officials say two suspects are in custody as deputies continue their investigation.
Although the nature of the incident was dangerous, the Sheriff's Officials say there is no immediate threat to the safety of the public.
