In a recent video posted to their social media pages, CMT asked several country artists who they haven’t been able to stop listening to lately.

While Blake Shelton, Gabby Barrett, and Ashley Cooke all shouted out fellow country acts, Lainey Wilson said she can’t stop listening to Maine’s own Role Model.

Cape Elizabeth native Tucker Pillsbury, who performs as Role Model, has been headlining sold-out shows, earning millions of TikTok views, and touring around the world.

He also performed on Saturday Night Live on October 11th, and in late September, his song ‘Sally, When the Wine Runs Out’ reached #1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay chart—his first-ever chart-topping hit.

In the video, Lainey also gave a shout-out to a band called Arcy Drive, which she says has a similar vibe to Role Model.

With Arcy Drive being from New York and Role Model from Maine, it’s clear Lainey’s been feeling the Northeast vibes lately—hopefully that feeling sticks around the next time she’s planning a tour.
