
Maine Fire That Sent 1 to the Hospital Was Intentionally Set
The State Fire Marshal Investigators say a house fire in Limington that seriously injured one person was intentionally set.
LifeFlight of Maine Transported the Victim of the Limington Fire to the Hospital
The name of the person injured in this fire has not been released. LifeFlight transported the person to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he's in serious condition. There's no indication anyone else was in the home at the time of the fire.
Investigators Determined the Fire at the Limington Home Was Set On Purpose
Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says the State Fire Marshal's Office was called Thursday to the scene of a house fire at 41 Boothy Road in Limington. Investigators responded just after 9:30 a.m. and determined the fire was intentionally set.
The home is considered a total loss. Authorities have not commented on whether the house had working smoke detectors.

So Far, No One Has Been Charged for the Fire
There was no comment on what might have motivated someone to burn the home. So far, no arrests have been made, but officials say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
