One of the great moments in life, is the day you get your license, it represents freedom and independance, unless you fail your driving exam. Not to worry, help is on the way!

To make life a little easier for Maine teens who don't pass their driver's test, Uber is offering a month of free rides to kids with Uber Teen Accounts.

So if you are a teen, or have a kid that fails their test, they can get a month of free rides.

The offer is good for up to six rides, with a maximum of $20 per ride.

This is an especially helpful option for parents, who may find themselves juggling multiple schedules and trying to fit in time to drive their kids around.

Uber will get them where they need to go and maybe cushion the blow of failing the road test.

Here is how it works:

For parents whose kids use Uber on a regular basis, the Uber Teen Account makes you feel secure, knowing that they are using a service with built-in safety features, including ride tracking, real-time updates, and a record of all their trips

To get in on this, parents or teens can sign into the Uber app. All you have to do is enter some basic information. You’ll also need to include which portion of the driver’s test your teen failed and why.

To qualify for the offer, your teen must have an active Uber Teen Account. If they don’t have one already, setting one up is free. You can do that here

The promotion is limited to six rides, with a maximum of $20 per ride.

The offer is slated to run through March 31st.
