Jordan’s Snack Bar Posts Information About Closure

Fans of Jordan's Snack Bar in Ellsworth were pretty much shocked when the beloved take-out and eat-in restaurant closed its doors suddenly a little over a week ago.

Hungry Mainers and those from away all wondered why Jordan's would shut down during its busiest time of the year.  Yesterday, ownership gave us a little more to go on when they posted this on the Snack Bar's Facebook page.

"Dear Friends...Thank you so much for all your kind words and support over the past week. We want you to know that we are all okay, but do need a bit more time to put some plans in place. Regretfully, there will be no Cruise-In again this week. We hope to have an update for you very soon on our future plans. Again, thanks for your patience and understanding. You continue to remind us what a great community we live in here in Ellsworth."

We wish the owners and workers at Jordan's the best, and hope that they open for business soon!
