The event normally draws up to 300,000 of bikers to the city in New Hampshire, and this year everyone will have to wait a little bit longer for it to happen

The Laconia City Council approved postponing this year's 97th Annual Motorcycle Week from June 13th through 21st until August 22nd through 30th, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Council also said that if things don't change significantly by then, that they would revisit and possibly move the event further into the fall.

Bikers would need hotels to stay in and restaurants to eat at and the way that things look now most of those services would not be available in June.  Motorcyle Week in Laconia is the third largest biker's rally in the United States, behind those in Daytona and Sturgis, South Dakota.
