A Portland brewery has been operating out of its Milo facility since January 10, and it will open to the public Saturday.

Bissell Brothers Brewing continues to grow. The Portland brewery announced it will open its second production facility, Bissell Brothers Three Rivers, in Milo to the public this weekend.

The brewery announced a "test-drive" soft opening date on social media. Saturday, the taproom will open to the public for the first time from noon to 6PM. Pouring at the opening is Bissell's first Milo born beer, Waveform IPA. There will also be a selection of offerings from Bissell Portland. Regular taproom hours have yet to be announced.

Bissell Brothers Three Rivers is the home to the brewery's barrel ageing project. The brewery ages some of their beers in wood barrels. The move has been long suspected among beer lovers since the brewery has mentioned the Milo project a few times on social media. However, the details of whether the facility will be open to the public, have a taproom or release their canned beers was previously unknown.

Bissell Brothers Three Rivers is located at 157 Elm Street, Milo.
