Miss America Dumps Being A Pageant And Becomes Solely A Scholarship Competition

In a unification with the #MeToo movement and after the surfacing of some very unkind comments fat shaming the contestant's from some of the organizers of the Pageant the decision has been made to make it a Pageant no more. So what does that mean? Well, for starters no more swimsuit competition and and altered evening wear portion will be seen when the competition airs Sunday September 9th at 9PM on ABC this year.
Oddly enough Miss America started out as a swimsuit competition at the onset but since then organizers want any woman to feel able to compete based on her character, brains and dreams.
