This pretty lady needs a forever home.

Dusty is a solid grey cat with bright yellow eyes. This velvety soft cat has been at the shelter for one year. She arrived in 2017, pregnant and terrified. She raised her kittens and watched them be adopted one by one. Yet for the ten months since her last kitten went home, Dusty has been waiting for someone to notice her.

Dusty’s superpower is her kindness to other cats of all ages and personalities. She’s gentle with kittens and senior cats, willing to play with young adult cats, and delighted to share a windowsill with cats who just want to sit in the sunshine. Dusty is 4-5 years old.

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption.  It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton.  It’s open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM.  Fridays and Saturdays between 11 AM – 6 PM.  Closed Monday and Tuesday.
