In 2024 alone, the Hike raised over $37,000 for The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.

This year they're getting a jump start on collecting the supplies they know may mean the difference between life and death during the winter.

Brewer High School students, taking part in a class called "The Power Of Art" are getting ready to see just how much of an impact art can have on those around them.

The event takes place rain or shine, as folks who braved the sleet and freezing rain of last year's event can tell you.

If you or your family would like to help provide a meal, they do ask that volunteers who choose to cook at the Shelter be at least 18 years old.

All the proceeds gathered from the fundraiser go directly to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.
