Ok, it's Friday and a certain amount of goofing off is allowed right? Now as a person who loved the latest Star Wars installment I love this.  Good new is even if you didn't like it I think it'll be just as funny for you.

Terrible news to confirm today, as a beloved icon and Star Wars star’s condition has taken a turn for the worse. Carrie Fisher, actress behind both Princess and General Leia, has passed away at age 60. The revered actress and comedic presence had earlier suffered a heart attack en-route from London to Los Angeles.

Funny when you look back now at your summers as a teen in the 1970's you realize that you had more fun than you knew and at the movies you were witnessing showed a change in what Hollywood thought about summer as being a dead zone at the movies...

Even if you have a limited knowledge of the Star Wars films, you probably know more than this woman does as she tries to explain the franchise after one too many glasses of wine.

Whether it’s Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead or The Hunger Games, you’ve surely seen one of the Bad Lip Reading videos on YouTube. They take a movie or TV show (or footage from football games) and re-record the dialogue with hilarious results. Today they’ve finally set their sights on the original Star Wars trilogy and they’ve brought along some famous friends for the ride.

When you’re out promoting a movie, you’re often asked to do a lot of things, most of them pretty silly. With the amount of press the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was being asked to do, there were asked to do a lot of silly things, none perhaps as silly as going on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and singing a medley of Star Wars music a cappella. But the entire cast — including Harrison Ford! — actually commits, and it actually turns out to pretty fun.

George Lucas recently commented about why he walked away from Star Wars and it’s all your fault. In a new video interview for Vanity Fair, the Star Wars creator voiced some of his frustrations with the past of the franchise and his hopes for the future, yielding some uncharacteristically candid soundbites.

Disney and Lucasfilm are trying very hard to preserve the secrets of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There are reports that the film won’t screen for critics until the day before it opens in theaters. And there are rumors that not only will there be no more trailers, but that the TV spots that run won’t use any new footage and everything you’ve seen so far, is all you’re going to get. But, even as they try to keep a carbonite fist on spoilers, J.J. Abrams has to leave his house. As much as Disney would like, they can’t keep him chained up in a Rancor pit until December 17. The dude has to go out in public. And that he did just the other day, and as people shouted at him “LUKE!!! WHERE’S LUKE!!!!” he was obliged to answer.
