UM Football Announces Five Commitments

The University of Maine football team announced on Wednesday the early signing commitments of five players to join the Black Bears.

UMaine sent out the release of the signings via Twitter from the early signing period which includes four defensive players and one offensive player to the program.

The Black Bears have commitments from Joshua Lezin (DL - Lakewood, NJ), John Smith-Cobb (DE – Middletown, DE), Adrian Otero (LB – Hazleton, PA), Flash Morgan (WR - Atlantic City, NJ), and Katley Joseph (DB – Ottawa, ONT).

The Black Bears had 24 seniors on the roster a year ago, and the program also officially announced that they have granted the release of RB Josh Mack from the program to seek transfer to a FBS team.
