A Happy Horse Story To Celebrate Derby Weekend

Hey, the Kenducky Derby is on Saturday and although he may never be a contender this horse beat the odds to live at all.  Meet Illinois race horse Magna Fortuna and his owners who are celebrating a victory of their own. The three-year-old gelding, whose name means “great luck,” who while still waiting to be born, his mother was scheduled to be sent to slaughter from an auction when fate stepped in and Gail Vacca from the Illinois Equine Shelter saw  his Mom Lulu and decided there was something too special there to be destroyed…watch the video to see the rest.  You’ll be glad you did.
