School students in the elementary-middle school in Ellsworth were evacuated and safely relocated to the Ellsworth High School this morning around 11.

Ellsworth Police report a note was found on a wall in the boys room stating their was a bomb in a student locker.

The students and staff were safely escorted to the Ellsworth High School and stayed there until the all clear was given at the Middle school.

A bomb dog from the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department conducted a thorough search of the school and nothing was found.

According to the Ellsworth Police Department's Facebook page students have now returned to the Middle School and afternoon bus transportation will run normally.
