Did you feel it? The USGS is reporting that a 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck the area around Richmond, Maine on Wednesday night. At 2.6, damage will be extremely minimal if any at all, but hundreds of people took to social media to see if anyone else felt what they did.

Residents in the midcoast area described it as a "big bang," like "a furnace exploded," and similar to the sound a plow makes when it goes by. (It was snowing today, so that might have actually been a plow too!)

From WMTW: "There have been no injuries or damages reported, but people have reported houses and buildings shaking in nearby towns such as Bowdoinham, Wiscasset, and Sabattus."
