We've always had cats and we are forever having conversations with them. "Really Micki?  I JUST sat down for dinner and NOW you decide to take a dump?"  "Studless, what did I just step in?"  "Who left that furball there?"

Did you ever walk in front of your pet and say "excuse me?"

You get the idea.  And yes, we realize that they have no idea what we're saying to them.  Well, maybe they do.
