Downeast YMCA has a Summer Camp!

Congratulations to the people and contributors of the Downeast Family YMCA on their full ownership of  shore front  property on Webb Pond in Eastbrook!  In over two and a half years of fundraising the mission has been accomplished.  The beautiful lodge and beach will be used for the Y's summer camp program.  This will benefit many kids in the area, giving them woods to explore, a beach to swim from and the opportunity for many different learning activities!

The fund raising began back in February of 2010 with the goal of collecting 1.2 million dollars.  Due to the generosity of many area businesses and individuals the dream has become reality!  Great job everyone!
