With the city ice rink being closed, you may have been wondering, but the 2016 Ellsworth Winter Carnival is on!

This Saturday, February 13th, the Winter Carnival kicks off at the Woodlawn Museum with the ever popular Cardboard Sled Races!  Bring the kids out with a simple cardboard sled and watch them have fun!  No cardboard sled for you?  Well then bring a regular sled and have fun! Registration begins at 9AM!

While you're at Woodlawn, take a Snowmoblie Sleigh Ride around the Museum's beautiful trails and grounds!  It may not be a horse drawn carriage, but it's just as fun! The rides happen between 9AM and noon.

The Winter Carnival will wind down with fireworks at Ellsworth High School! With the very cold weather expected, there's plenty of places to sit in your car and watch the display!  Park at the Mill Mall, the Ellsworth Middle School, or just look for where all the cars are, those are the folks that have been there before!

There is no charge for any of the events and concessions will be on sale for those that attend!
